There’s less than a week to make your voice heard on Labour’s Congestion Charge Tax. Local residents are set to be charged up to £1200 if the C-Charge plans are given the go-ahead - without any real improvement in local public transport in Walkden and the surrounding areas.
You should already have received your ballot paper. If you have not had a voting pack call the voting helpline on 0800 783 9828.
Ballots must reach the Returning Officer by 10pm on 11th December, so make sure you post yours as soon as possible. On Thursday 11th December only you can hand your ballot paper in at Walkden library between 7am and 10pm.
